About B & R

In 1999, Rob Germain started his journey with a snowplow and a vision, balancing his duties as a police officer. When faced with statewide layoffs, Rob saw an opportunity to take the entrepreneurial leap and become his own boss.

Teaming up with his father, Bob Germain, they founded B&R Landscaping and Excavation. What began as a humble venture, offering lawn care and snow removal to those close to them, transformed into Ellicottville’s go-to landscape design and build firm. In 2016, a third-generation of the Germain family wanted to get involved in the family business. Kyle assisted with transforming the partnership into an LLC. Over the past 25 years, Rob, Bob and Kyle have worked together to build a reputable brand in Ellicottville, celebrated for their expertise in crafting exquisite retaining walls and outdoor living spaces.

Today, B&R is synonymous with quality and craftsmanship, especially known for our stunning retaining walls and outdoor living spaces.
